Many of you ask about the policy for the UK. The Chief report of the Chief Medical Officer in England caused a stir on presumed consent this Summer. Thousands registered on line as a result of the debate in the media. It was headline news on the BBC.

Kidney Wales has asked the Dr Tony Jewell the Chief Medical Officer in Wales for his views as he has not entered the debate and has been silent.

Kidney Wales will lobby the Assembly to change the law in Wales on this.
